Getting registered
You need to register to post entries!

Anyone can browse this site, but before you can post messages, you’ll need to register (please, members of Mission Valley Ambulance only). Once you’re registered, you can also send emails to everyone else who is registered. You can send an email either to an individual or to the entire group. There’s a “register” link in the navigation bar at the top of this page.

(Gwen, Eldon and Michael: no need to register--you can use the name and password you use to post on the Umphrey Family website).

You should be able comment on posts without registering, though comments are moderated, which means it won’t be published until I approve it.  (This is just so I can block spammers). I normally check things every day.

You can see the Google calendars without a Google account, but you’ll need to create an account before you can add things to them. Just click on the “calendar” link in the navigation bar at the top of this page. Then, when the calendar loads, click on the Google logo in the upper left corner. This will take you to the signup page (it only takes a few seconds). If you already have a Google account, use it to sign in to this calendar.

You should be able to use the same user name and password for Google and for this site.

Using the shift calendar
   You'll need a Google account

We’re using a Google calendar to track who covered shifts each month. After you finish your shift, log on to the calendar and add your name to the date of your shift. Katherine will use this calendar to do payroll at the end of the month.

If you do shifts, you’ll have to have Katherine or Michael send you an invitation to the calendar. When it arrives in your email, log on to the calendar. If you don’t yet have a Google account, you’ll need to create one, but it’s very simple. After you’ve set it up, you should only need to click on the “shift calendar” link in the navigation bar at the top of this page to get to the calendar.
