4th of July Fun
Doug had a day off work and actually took the whole day off, so we had lots of fun. We started the day with a bbq and swim at Grandma Katy’s, and ended it with desserts and fireworks at the Townsends. Keilana liked the look of the fireworks. but watched most of them from inside because the noise was hurting her ears. Dylan, on the other hand, laughed all the way through the firework show and kept signing “more” and trying to escape to go help light them.

Keilana’s starting to really enjoy the pool--I think she’s gonna get into swim lessons this summer. Dylan, the true fish, was napping by this point.

Dylan reserved a spot for the show early.

Keilana decided she wanted to race Samuel Townsend up the hill. He graciously allowed her to win.

Dylan gets in on the racing action (although he didn’t actually have anyone to beat, he clapped for himself when he won).

Keilana had been hearing all day that there would be cookies at this shindig, so at one point she became very distraught because she had not yet seen said cookies.
