We had a busy Memorial Day. We started the day with a drive through the Bison Range. After a few very damp and drizzly stops the kids looked at books and admired the buffalo in the visitors center. Later in the afternoon we visited the cemetaries.

Most of the group ventured out into the rain once we were at the top.

The look of the day seemed to be the colored hoodie for the boys.

Jenna and Azia kept dry (somewhat) with their raincoats.

Gage and Israel give their younger siblings a relaxing massage after the long morning.

Israel and Gage arrange the flowers on Nana’s grave.

Azia sets up flowers on Umpy’s grave.

We had a whole flock/herd/ pack of animals again this year for the Wild Walk in Missoula.

Azia the butterfly got some additional use out of her ballet recital costume.

The boys represented various parts of the animal kingdom. We had a bird (Gage) and insect (Israel the caterpillar) and a furry racoon (Daij).

Gage the big bird provided a little shade for his little feathered friend, Zoran the rooster.
