Four-wheelin’ with John

John invited me to go four-wheeling this weekend, after finishing some tasks on the bathroom remodel and front door replacement.

He has two 350cc utility fourwheelers (Yamaha, drive shaft driven).

It was a lot of fun, partly blasting down old logging roads like at Indie 500 and partly crawling up hills it would be slow and bothersome to walk up (unless you were Michael or Eldon). The machines had racks and pack bags, so it was easy to tote along lots of food and camera gear. He says Boulder Pass, on top of the Missions, is a great place to go--later in the year. The huckleberries are ripe in August.
