Manhattan New York Temple
I had to post these (now that I’ve found them) because this was just so wierd. The temple is on the corner of 65th and Columbus, right across the street from the Lincoln Center. The bottom floor is an entry way (once inside, there’s a separate entrance for the temple) where you hop on elevators to go to the 3rd and 4th floors, where the Manhattan Wards meet (there are 3 or 4 regular wards and 2 YSA wards) and then the temple is actually on the 5th and 6th floors. Now if my astute attention to the Lincoln Center scene in Ghostbusters is correct, there used to be an apartment building here. It was rather strange to have a temple right there in the midst of all the hustle and bustle, but once inside the building, the word “refuge” never seemed so appropriate.
