We left at about 4:30 in the morning on Sunday July 31.
The first part of the drive went pretty fast, because I couldn’t stay awake and Deva had to drive.
After the kids and I had our naps we were ready to go.
Our first scenic stop was Multomah Falls.
Our first night was spent camping at Cape Lookout State Park. The last strech of road before the campgrounds was thru a beautiful green tunnel.

Ahni loved her first time at the beach. Diving into the hot sand seemed to be her favorite activity.
Mmmm… ...Sand taste good.
Eldon got off a fire fighting job Sunday Morning so they didn’t get to leave until afternoon,
but Bryce and the rest of the kids still got to play on the beach Monday morning.
