St. Ignatius School had their annual PowWow Friday so we went to our first PowWow of the season that afternoon also. I had too many kids to keep track of to really take any pictures, but here are a few.

This is the part Israel was looking forward to all afternoon. Though it’s supposed to be a ladies’ choice dance, I’m pretty sure he couldn’t even wait for someone to ask him. He and Amaya did pretty well. They didn’t win, but wanted to dance the whole song so they just kept starting over. Israel also decided that he now wants to dance more often so he needs a fancy dance outfit. And someone to teach him to fancy dance.

Azia has been dancing around the house all week and looking forward to wearing her new dress, but once she got into the gym, she was too shy to go more than a few feet away from where we were all sitting in the bleachers. Hopefully she gets a little braver by the next PowWow.

Zoran on the other hand danced every single song (even the one that was only for the girls). He doesn’t have an outfit, but he wore Azia’s old moccasins (thanks Janice!) that are basically too small for him.  And his bells. He really loves his bells. I guess I’ll have to get busy on coming up with something for him to wear before Azia’a Headstart PowWow.
