Slide presentation: historical and cultural background for American Romanticism

America 1800-1860
Slide Presentation
Create a slide presentation on a historical event or topic giving background information on American Romanticism. Summarize key point in a few words in bulleted lists. Look for images to enrich the presentation. The presentation should be at least 5 minutes long.
Each presentation should consist of at least 5 slides and should include this information:
- What, when and where the event was,
- Who was/were involved,
- Why it was importanthow did it affect or change America?
- Your hypothesis: how do you think it influenced the way people thought?
Each presentation should also include:
- at least 3 images (portraits of persons, maps, images of primary documents, charts)
- a least one quote from a person who participated in the event<
- at least one exact date
During the presentation, you should address the class, (you should not read from the slides֖the slides should not include the text of your presentation).
