Slide Presentation

Grading Rubric

Create a slide presentation on a historical event or topic giving background information on American Romanticism. Summarize key point in a few words in bulleted lists. Look for images to enrich the presentation. The presentation should be at least 5 minutes long.

Each presentation should consist of at least 5 slides and should include this information:

• What, when and where the event was,
• Who was/were involved,
• Why it was importanthow did it affect or change America?
• Your hypothesis: how do you think it influenced the way people thought?

Each presentation should also include:

1. at least 3 images (portraits of persons, maps, images of primary documents, charts)
2. a least one quote from a person who participated in the event<
3. at least one exact date

During the presentation, you should address the class, (you should not read from the slides֖the slides should not include the text of your presentation).
